Amy Goddard

“Wonderful new singer-songwriter, one to watch”.
BBC Radio Wales

Originally from South Wales, Amy Goddard now lives in Portsmouth where she sings and plays regularly at local folk and acoustic clubs. She is a keen singer/songwriter and guitarist who lists some of her influences as Paul Simon, John Stewart, Joni Mitchell, Oysterband, The Levellers, Show of Hands, Dougie Maclean and Nanci Griffith! She is also a guitar, piano and theory of music teacher and a luthier… and regularly performs with a guitar she built herself!

Amy's debut solo album “Burn & Glow”, was released in 2014 and has received several excellent reviews. The album was 2 years in the making and is mainly original material (with one cover and one traditional track) with songs cover serious subjects including bullying and depression along with more light hearted tracks and a tribute to American legend John Stewart.
