Sessions are often felt to be the 'life-blood' of a music festival and this year we're really hoping that lots of our performing artists, locals and visitors will bring their instruments and/or voices to join the spontaneous music sessions that will erupt in various places. MACLEAN'S REAL MUSIC BAR When Dougie and Jenny MacLean owned a hotel in Dunkeld, MacLean's Real Music Bar won Music Pub of The Year (2000). Now it is reborn every year during the Perthshire Amber Festival within the theatre complex. With the help of expertly crafted sets and lighting a different pub setting, with a distinctive atmosphere, is created and enjoyed by all. Open from 1pm-6pm on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st October and again on Saturday 6th November we encourage you all to seek out this year's specially designed music pub and enjoy a tune or a song... all are welcome to join in with the music or enjoy listening. |
